Dottie was born and raised in New England. As a teenager, she moved to Alaska, living a total of 11 years in Anchorage and Fairbanks. During that time she became acquainted with the real estate business while working as a mortgage loan processor at First National Bank of Anchorage. In 1979, she relocated to Northeast Kansas and was thrilled to find that the lay-of-the-land and the architecture were very similar to her dear New England.
In the mid-80s Dottie began selling real estate in Shawnee, Kansas. With 4 sons, she found that real estate and good time management skills accommodated both motherhood and her career. Her sons are now grown, but Dottie still enjoys helping her clients achieve their goals.
Her Dad was her hero, living a full 96 years with gusto. She shares his curiosity & awe for life in general, and nature in particular. She is a member of Oskaloosa Rotary Club and is especially active in their Valentine scholarship fundraiser project.
Dottie wants her prospective clients to know that she will be honest, forthright, and diligent on their behalf. She appreciates the trust placed in her when someone chooses her to represent them.
